Sunday House OBX

Lifestyle and property photography for Sunday House OBX, a newly renovated canal-front Airbnb on Hatteras Island, created to showcase the home’s design, amenities, and relaxed coastal lifestyle.

This project was created for Sunday House OBX, a newly renovated Airbnb located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods on Hatteras Island in North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Situated directly on a quiet canal, the home offers both privacy and easy access to the water — a defining feature that shaped the visual direction of the shoot.

The goal of this session was to capture the property as both a place to stay and a place to experience. Bright, airy interiors were photographed to highlight the thoughtful renovation, natural light, and elevated coastal finishes throughout the home. Each space was approached with an emphasis on flow, openness, and comfort, allowing potential guests to easily imagine themselves moving through the house.

In addition to architectural and interior imagery, lifestyle moments were intentionally woven into the shoot. Slow mornings with coffee, shared meals, evenings by the water, and quiet moments indoors were styled to reflect how the home is meant to be lived in — relaxed, welcoming, and effortless. These moments help tell a fuller story beyond the structure itself, adding warmth and personality to the listing.

The final image set was created for use across Airbnb and other rental platforms, as well as social media and publication-ready content. The result is a cohesive visual library that supports both marketing and storytelling, positioning Sunday House OBX as a refined yet approachable coastal retreat designed for connection, comfort, and ease.
